    I thought people who know about computers may be interested in this thread. It gives a solution although it hasn't got my issue solved yet but fingers are crossed the author may reply. Solved: Windows 10 can't set up a homegroup on this computer - HP Support Forum - 5581558.

    Based on all the posts concerning homegroups and networking, windows 10 clearly has issues. I find it interesting that the main Windows support page, while listing 15 categories, does not mention networking once. Well, that certainly is for dummies, lol.

    So you are saying you don't know any specifics on how the homegroup system works and you should use other methods to conduct file sharing. I'm sure that reassures all the purchases of the latest Microsoft product. Well, the little kiddywinkies who only log on to facebook I guess.
