Windows 10: Windows 10 Sound Stutter

Hello,


I'am experiencing a very strange problem with windows 10 audio. The problem arises after updating windows to fall creators update which is version 1709. The problem is that the audio is randomly freeze sometimes with huge buzzing sound which completely mute my audio and turns back normal in 1-2 seconds.


This happens mostly when i use some other sound with currently running sound say i'am playing game and some popup shows which has sound and my sound got freeze with that buzzing sound and turns normal after a short interval of mute or i'am in game and someone use mic and sound froze or i'am listening songs and something else came like some popup notification sound or other sound.


I noticed my apps are running fine in these situations but only sound is the problem for me. I'am using windows 10 from the beginning and this problem rise after updating to 1709 version till now 1809 version, before that i don't have any of these problems.


Things i already tried : reinstalling audio drivers (completely), reinstall fresh windows 10 so many times, disabling enhancements etc. Please if anyone knows how to fix this problem. I tried almost everything on internet and came here finally. I did saw people having same problem and i tried their solutions too, but no luck for me. Writing here is my only hope left.

Sound stuttering


I tried so many different things the last few days after giving up I came across a post on another website, someone suggested to update the wireless LAN driver.

So far I have had no stuttering of any sound be it music on itunes or netflix.

Method 1: Run audio troubleshooter.

You might be able to solve some problems by running a troubleshooter that will automatically fix some common issues with audio.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key on your keyboard
  
• Type Troubleshooting and click
  Troubleshooting..
• Click on view all (on the left)
  
• Select Playing Audio troubleshooter
  
• Follow the prompted steps to troubleshoot this issue.

If the issue persists, follow method 2.

Method 2: I would suggest you to update Audio drivers and check. If issue persists again reinstall latest drivers from manufacturer's website in compatibility mode:

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
