Windows 10: Windows 10 spams ink change message and won't let me print!

I have Windows 10 and a HP D2660 Printer.

The thing is windows is spamming me that the ink cartridges have been changed and interrupts everything I try to print.

After I start the process to print,the message appears at least 10 times.Ticking the option "not to show again" doesn't work,it will show again.

After a lot of times pressing ok,it will eventually start to print.Thing is,the same message will then appear midprint and disrupt the prin.

Pressing ok about a dozen times will make the print continue,but not for long...So printing 10 pages like this,takes longer than hand writing them.

I reinstalled the hp software,made some maintance things,uninstalled everything that had HP on the title from the pc and regedit and it somehow worked after that.But then the ink finished and after the ink change,same thing again.

Deleted the printer as a device,deleted everything HP related,rebooted several times,nothing changed...

At start,I thought it was some HP driver thing,but same printer at windows 7 works fine.And after those actions that made the printer work for a while,I'm convinced it's a windows bug...

Any advice at what to do?

Edit:I found out that changing to "print directly to the printer" will not trigger the ink message.I would leave it that way,but is seems that you can print problemfree just single pages.Attempting to print a pdf with several pages with that option messes with the pages and it somehow prints one page on another at every page.

Then it is time to get a new printer. We bought a Brother HL-2280dw laser, because we only printed in Black and White. I got tired of replacing ink cartridges every 3 or 4 months, because they always dried out before we would print something again. That printer is End of Life, and there are some great deals on Lasers, which are pushing the Ink jets out of the market.
