Windows 10: Windows 10 Speech Recognition Training Is not working

I am trying to set up voice recognition for a program I purchased called voice attack. I followed instructions and I have gotten to a Speech Recognition Voice training window. I did the entire thing once, and it completely failed. It could not recognize a single word I said, but was very confident that some words were completely different ones. I had to give up because in the first line, "Speech is the main way people bond and learn from each other." it thought the word "Bond" was "Pause" and kept halting the program. I think it failed so miserably because whenever there was a pause I just said the line again. This time I am not repeating this, but it just won't continue. What is the proper way to go through this program because there are no good instructions for it.

Training mode in speech recognition not working

I am using Windows 10. I cannot use the training module for speech recognition. I set up the microphone and read the sentence and it works fine. I go to train the computer and nothing happens. It seems like it cannot hear me. I have tried deleting
profiles and creating new ones. Nothing works. I can use speech recognition but cannot train the computer to my voice.

 

Speech Recognition could not start. Please change the recognizer language in the speech recognition control panel under advanced options

To address your concern, we suggest you to change the Speech Recognition settings. To do so, kindly follow these steps:

• On your keyboard, press Windows + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Choose Speech Recognition.
• Select Advance speech options.
• Uncheck Review documents and mail to improve accuracy.
• Click Apply.
• Click OK.

If the issue persist, create a Train Profile by performing the steps below and check if the experience will be the same:

• On your keyboard, press Windows + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Choose Speech Recognition.
• Select Advance speech options.
• Under Recognition Profiles, check the default profile.
• Click Train Profile.

If Train Profile fails, click New..., and create a new profile. Then, check if the new profile will work.
