    Windows 10: SSD space doesn't add up


    Hello,


    I have a Dell XPS 13 with a 128 GB SSD. In practice, the total space it has is 119 GB, and I'm currently sitting at 3.94 GB of free space on it. However, when adding up every folder, my C: drive only contains 41 GB of files. Performing a Disk Cleanup would be negligible ~15 MB + 200 MB of downloads. Here is how Windows tells me the space is allocated:

    I downloaded WinDirStat to see if there would be any additional information, but it gives me the same report:

    JCACHE files are for the only game I have left installed, and WAV files are voice recordings I have stored. These 8-10 GB are pretty much the only space I actually use on my drive.


    I do have the hibernation file hiberfil.sys, but it takes up 3.3 GB. It is a sizeable chunk, but not 64 GB. I tried a few solutions online but nothing helped.


    What could it possibly be, and how can I get to actually use my disk space? As of right now, this laptop is pretty much unusable.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    i ve tried everything:with atiflash from dos,winflash.step by step with bios powercolor hd 6970 from the database.
    nothing,doesn´t work.any suggestion????

    I deleted all my data. I had have it backed up.

    I did a clean installation using the windows media creation tool (usb option).

    No, I didn`t. I thought a clean installation would solve the problem.

    After posting my previous message, I did it.

    After chkdsk, I close cmd and tried to boot and the laptop just turned it off. This morning I`ve restarted it and automatically windows did a repair. Windows has booted and it seems that the repair tool has removed chrome and acrobat pdf reader (the only two programs I had installed after reinstalling windows).

    Now Windows is installing updates and restarting my lapop, I`m kind of frightened. I don`t want it to happen again. Anyhow, I want to know what has brought the issue

    I`ve been looking for information about the error code at the end of the picture and I didn`t get anywhere.
