Windows 10: Windows 10 Start-Menu Icons broken ?

Hello community,
I just installed Windows 10 and its nice and all, just that the icons in the start menu and the system settings for programs are broken.

Icons not showing windows 10

How about the screenshot of the folder that icons are not showing? Is it the same with the icons on the Start menu? Try rebuilding the icon cache: How to Rebuild a Broken Icon Cache in Windows 10

 

Taskbar Icons Flickering

Windows is broken out of the box. Broken Start menus , Flickering icons. Heck even OS X runs better on a PC's these days ±!

 

I have the same. Did you solve it?

 

Maybe rebuilding the icon cache would refresh the icons? Rebuild the Icon cache in Windows 7 | 8

Yup, me too, doesnt do anything
Even after a clean Install, some programs still miss the icon after installing..

 

Man, have you installed StarDock IconPackager ?
I have and MAYBE its the cause of the problem..had to reinstall my Programs but hey, I have the icons..maybe..(im not sure..)

 

I had the same issue. What I found is that permissions for those shortcuts were corrupted. I had to take ownership of them with my personal account, and then give ownership back to SYSTEM to restore their functionality. Maybe this is what's going on here?
