  1. Windows 10 Startup issues

For some reason when I boot up my laptop, I only see CMD and nothing else. When I pressed ctrl+alt+del and opened task manager I saw that windows explorer wasn't running so I typed in "start explorer" on the cmd then I can see my screen. It happens every time I turn on my laptop.

    :)

  3. Startup issues since upgrading to Win 10

    Hi,

Thank you for using Windows 10.

I understand your concern and would suggest you to try performing "Startup Repair" and check if that helps. Here is the steps:

    • Press and hold Shift key and click on Restart from login screen.
    • Click on Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced Options.
    • Select Startup Repair and follow the on screen instructions.
Let us know if the issue still persists and we'll be glad to help.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
