  1. Windows 10 startup

I have a custom built desktop, I updates to Windows 10 home about 5 months ago. Ever since then I have the hardest time loading windows. It freezes on the spinning white dots, then I restart my computer. Usually after about 10 times it might load and I can use my computer. I finally bought a driver updater program after my 3rd fresh install of windows 10 Home. It updated drivers and I thought it would be fine. I accidentally turned my computer off amd, after it loaded the first time I had a black screen and nothing worked, all the programs had the "attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist" so I restarted my computer and now I have the same loading problem.

I have a Asus Rampage IV motherboard, 64 gb of RAM, an Intel I6 CPU, I think it might be a motherboard driver problem? I'd appreciate any input.

    :)

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
