Windows 10: Windows 10 Stopcode 0xc000021a - boot loop

My PC is is stuck in a bootloop and I can't find a fix. Before redirecting me to similar posts, please read the issues I am facing.


I have created a USB Boot drive via Microsoft media creation tool, I can boot to this drive and access the command prompt but despite everything I've tried, I cannot get to the 'Startup settings'.


System restore & reset are unavailable. I've tried every way (that I know of) to enter Safemode with no success.


This issue did not appear after an update. I ran a virus scan using Malwarebytes (which quarantined an unknown file) and attempted to reboot my pc, that's when this bootloop started.


The commands I have tried are as follows:


- chkdsk /f /r : successful

- sfc/scannow : successful

- dism/online/cleanup-image/restorehealth : unsuccessful

- dism /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions : unseccessful


At this point I just want to reset my PC but even that isn't working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

0xc000021a Stopcode

Hello Microsoft community,

I recently built a PC from hardware parts and attempted to put Windows 10 onto it. I formatted it correctly (installation menu popped up, went through, etc.) but I got the stopcode 0xc000021a. As this isn't an update and I wasn't "using my PC" so to speak,
www.microsoft.com/stopcode didn't help me. I believe the problem is that I didn't buy an access code (I was ensuring that the process would actually start because installing it has been a bit strange) with the intent that I would buy one and put it in after
I was done.

I assume that I must put in the access code right away, but my PC is now stuck in a loop of showing this stopcode and then force-restarting my computer with occasional error collection in between. I would like to wipe Windows 10 off of my SSD (there's literally
nothing else on it), buy an access code, and then try again. I have no idea how to do this, however.

pc crashes with stopcode 0xc000021a while updating KB4343909

can't update KB4343909. crashes with stopcode 0xc000021a and goes into repair loop. need to revertpendingactions. windows update shows failed update - 0x800f0845. also tried to install from windows update catalogue. same thing happens.
