  1. Windows 10 Store Downloading a game i own

My friend bought me Minecraft windows 10 edition so i could play with him and friends on realms, i play on pc and they play on xbox.

When i used the code he gave me it said i already owned the game, i checked my library and minecraft was there but it looks like it just says minecraft and not the windows 10 version, and when i tried to download it there is no option to download. I've tried going to the store page for Minecraft windows 10 and entering the code there but it still says i own the game. I've tried updating and restarting my pc, and I've tried playing on the java edition i already have on my pc, but nothing seems to be working, i tried finding a solution on the Minecraft/Mojang websites respectively but the issue is on the windows 10 store. I'm not sure what to do Please help.

    :)

  3. not able to download games from store

    Hi,

There are several possible reasons as to why you're encountering issues with downloading games from the Windows Store. Here's a list of the common factors:

    • Your account may be restricted from downloading games that are inappropriate for your age.
    • Games you're trying to download are not available in your current region.
    • Corrupted app data
    • An outdated Windows 10 OS

For us to determine the root cause of this issue, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Are you using an adult or a child account?
    • Is the Microsoft account you're using in the Windows Store app the same as your Windows 10 user account?
    • Are you using an administrator user account?

In the meantime, we suggest running the Windows apps troubleshooter provided on this

    link
. This can help resolve issues with downloading and installing games from the Windows Store.
