Windows 10: Windows 10 stuck on "Automatic start up repair, repair failed" loop.

Everything was working fine, but today when I started my pc, it automatically started "Start up repair", after few minutes, it failed with error "Automatic repair couldn't repair your pc"

BUT, here one thing to notice was that, it was written "Log file: J:\Windows\System32....." instead of "Log file: C:\Windows\System32... ", in my pc.


I know, I had installed windows 10 on C drive instead of J drive.


I tried to boot into safe mode, but even during the booting into safe mode, automatic repair started and gave that same error.


What should I do now?


AND, after that, I connected a windows 10 installer USB to my pc, then, in windows repair environment, I started command prompt.


Using command prompt, I managed to open that srttrail file(which was given in the automatic repair error), I found no errors mentioned in it, and there was "Startup repair has tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem" line written.


Using command prompt, I also started diskpart, Entered the command "sel disk 0", then "list volume", it listed all the partitions, but I surprisingly found that J letter was assigned to Windows install partition and C was assigned to "WINRETOOLS" partition. But Windows 10 was installed on C partition.

Stuck on automatic repair loop

Step 1: I suggest you to install Windows 10 using the media creation tool:

Step 2: After installing Windows 10, perform an Automatic Repair.

Perform the Automatic repair:

• 
  When your computer starts, wait for the manufacturer logo to check the option for boot menu, it will usually be
  F12.
  
• 
  The boot menu key might differ with each manufacturer. If you are unable to find the boot menu key, you may refer the user manual.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, when the manufacturer's logo is displayed, keep pressing the
  Boot menu option key to enter the boot menu and change the boot option to
  CD\DVD ROM.
  
• 
  After you boot your computer using Windows 8 DVD, a black screen appears with gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press any key.
  
• 
  Select the correct time and
  Keyboard type.
  
• 
  Click Repair your computer in the lower left corner
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting, advanced option and then click
  Automatic repair.
