Windows 10: Windows 10 stuck on login screen wallpaper.

I am freaking out right now because I have an exam to study and I just tried to bring up my laptop from sleep mode to find out that I cannot log in. When I press a random key as usual to go to the box where I type my pin, it quickly shows my account name and photo and goes back to the screen with the wallpaper, time and date. I tried restarting so many times using the power button that it doesn’t press anymore. Please help.

Windows 10 Stuck at login screen


As said in the title, my windows 10 is stuck at the login screen

Couldn't Hold shift and Restart because for some reason i don't have the shutdown button

It's nearly impossible to interact with the login screen, mouse moves but things don't get highlighted and no matter what you write it hever shows up.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.

  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.

  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.

  Close the Personalization window.

Can't login to my windows 10 PC

Hi,

I tried everything that you suggested.

I am trying to login to Microsoft account.

And I am able to login using the web interface.

I used on-screen keyboard too. But the issue persists. It gives an error, and asks to try again.

Please help. I am stuck.
