Windows 10: Windows 10 System Restore error 0x8007025d

Hello,

A few days ago, I unplugged my computer and moved it all to a different part of my room. All was fine, until I went to log in and saw that it said it "can't log in". I tried many different methods to try to log in, but none worked. So, I went to youtube and watched a video on how to fix it. It said to go to regedit and delete the copy of your profile with .bak at the end, so I did so. However, when I went back to watch the rest, all they really did was change the name of the profile to not say .bak!

So, after this, I reset my computer to see if I could then log in. It did the same thing, putting me on a guest profile, but this time it didnt say I couldnt log in. So I then tried to do a system restore to see if I could get my files back that way or atleast get the deleted profile back to my regedit program.. but it didn't work. Instead, I get the error 0x8007025d. It says:

Details: System Restore failed to extract the file E: \Program Files x86 \Microsoft \Edge‘Application \87.0.664.60 \msedge.d11 from the restore point. An unspecified error occurred during System Restore. 0x8007025d

You can try System Restore again and choose a different restore point. If you continue to see this error, you can try an advanced recovery method


Afterwards, I searched up how to fix it, and tried many methods to fix it, such as:

1 System Restore in Clean Boot and in Safe Mode
2 Disabling antivirus and attempting to restore again
3 Changed the Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider and Volume Shadow Copy to Automatic

4 SFC /Scannow - however, no corrupted files could be found
5 Chkdsk /R - took a while to run but didn't find any errors
6 DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth - nothing wrong found

7 I also used system file checker to find any corrupted files, but none could be found


I was wondering if there was any way I could still get my old files back through system restore, or if me deleting the .bak file of my profile deleted all of the files forever. Im willing to try anything and come back to answers with specifics. Thank you

The error 0x8007025d occurs when either the system cannot read, or write to execute the operation it is instructed to do. Since you have already run
SFC, we suggest that you also run Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM). You may follow the steps provided by
ZigZag3143 (MS -MVP) on his article.

Windows System Restore Error (0x8007025d)

Whenever I try to preform a system restore, I get this error message: (0x8007025d). I have tried many things like sfc scan(which won't work as well) and still can't preform a successful system restore. I urgently need help so any advice is appreciated.
Or if someone could walk me through the process, I would be extremely grateful.
