Windows 10: windows 10 system restore

I was having problems with my laptop dvd player. When I inserted a dvd, the Power Media Player screen would appear and the Resume and Restart icons where appear. If I clicked the mouse on either icon, I would get two beeps but the player would not start.

I went on line for help at the HP help site and was instructed to uninstall the Power Media Player app., then go to the HP website and download the current Power player app.

I downloaded the current Power Player app from the HP website and was then instructed to restart my laptop. After the restart, I now have a blue screen that says "Choose your keyboard Layout" and I selected US. I am then taken to another blue screen that says "Choose an Option" and the two options are Troubleshoot or Turn off PC.

I select Troubleshoot and then taken to another blue screen with six options. Regardless of which option I select, I am unable to get into my windows home page.

Windows XP PRO error after restore

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.

• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

On another note, we also suggest that you check the Windows Defender settings and lower down the security if it is on high security. This can also be another issue why it is preventing an update to be installed.
