    Windows 10 Tablet - Nothing Working [File system error (-2147219196)]


    I have a Win 10 Tablet but it literally won't let me do anything. I can't open the Start Menu, I can't go into the settings, I can't open anything. The only things it will let me do is use File Explorer, Task Manager and CMD.

    When I try opening an internet browser, it comes up with "File system error (-2147219196)."

    I can't find a fix for this anywhere online, no-one else seems to have this issue. And anything I've found in a tutorial doesn't work. I have no idea why it's even doing this. I don't think it's a virus or anything. I just factory reset it because it stopped letting me play videos, and then it didn't work at all. I've tried resetting again and the same thing happens.

    Can someone please explain what's going wrong and how I can fix it? It's been like this for months now.

    After the recent Windows 10 upgrade, wifi stopped working, so rolled back. Then when attempting to play an mp4 file, I get file system error (-2147219196) message...

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I just did the .reg from the tutorial, and I now get this in Default Apps as a choice. You may want to re-visit what you did in the tutorial.
