  1. Windows 10 takes forever to restart or shut down

    Hello all,

We have just purchased a brand new Mpg z490 gaming carbon wifi motherboard and installed Windows 10.
We have 2 ssd hard drives and 3 normal hard drives attached.
Drivers and bios is upto date.
When we select restart or shut down the pc takes forever to restart or shut down.
Is there a way we can fix this please.

    Cheers Shane

    :)

    Random shut down and restart??

Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
    E220@2.406hz
2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
    Windows xp

Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused Windows 10 takes forever to restart or shut down *Mad Windows 10 takes forever to restart or shut down

One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
