  2. task sheduler - shutdown

OK, thanks i saw on another forum, accessing the command prompt through safe mode, and trying to abort the task sheduler with

shutdown -a, ( it seemed in my case it was shutdown \a). Here, i got message that \a could only be run in the timeout period. This is where I stopped.

  3. Windows 10 automatic upgrade via task sheduler

    Hi Robert,

Sorry to inform you that using Task Scheduler there is not option to upgrade to Windows 10.

The Task Scheduler can be used to execute tasks such as starting an application, sending an email message, or showing a message box. Tasks can be scheduled to execute: When a specific system event occurs, when the computer enters an idle state,
when the system is booted and when a user logs on.

I suggest you to upgrade to Windows 10 using the steps from the below article and check if it helps.

    windows 10 : task sheduler

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
