Windows 10: Windows 10 task view flickering issue

Hello everyone !

Trying desperately to find a solution to this issue... i post here hoping someone knows a solution or experience this issue.

Ive been reading through the internet and saw that this issue is not specific to me.

I also own both, a pretty good laptop and desktop. On both ive a authentic Windows 10 license with everything up to date.


My main problem happens when multitasking on Windows. When i make use of the task viewer Mouse, trackpad or Windows / Shift

really often, and really i mean it, really often, a very noticeable flickering issue occurs during the displaying process of the open apps on the desktop. The action is like, you open, the animation start, it flickers and then you can see it normally the windows.


Not only is a nightmare in esthetics, i could have been go beyond that, but this issue has also cause me hard headaches through my days. I stopped experience any headache after not using task view anymore for days and use the Alt / Tab functions instead. Its not a perfect solution?


After reading for a couple of months I found that maybe disabling the Windows auto Scaling helps, but the issue still happens pretty often.

Is there a way or something we can do to fix this issue ?


This is the first time i experience this issue as i used normally my windows devices for specific use and never for multitasking and heavy web browsing purposes. I love the power of windows but this issue is a major drawback for my productivity.


Note. Ive disabled the Windows 10 animations, as well as tried everything from the System Properties advanced panel regarding the performance of the visual effects.

I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

Screen flickering can be caused by hardware or application issue.

To better assist you, please answer the following questions:

• Is the issue only happening in Safe Mode?
• Have you made any changes on your device prior to the issue?

Screen flickering in Windows 10 is usually caused by incompatible apps or display drivers. To determine whether an app or driver is causing the problem, check to see if Task Manager flickers. Then, based on that information, you'll need to either
uninstall the app or update the display driver.

Open Task Manager by pressing the Ctrl+Shift+Esc keys on the keyboard at the same time. If that doesn't work, right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen and then select
Task Manager.

• If Task Manager doesn't flicker, an app is probably causing the problem.
  
• If Task Manager does flicker, a display driver is probably causing the problem.

Please revert if the screen flickers.
