Windows 10: Windows 10 Taskbar Auto-Hide Problem

Hello Everyone!I love using a taskbar that auto hides, so that's why I use the auto-hide taskbar feature in Taskbar Settings.This feature is great but I have a huge issue with it-Whenever a new notification comes from MS Teams or Discord or any other app, my taskbar unhides and show a glowing icon on the application that send me the notification. The taskbar only hides again when I click on the app with the notification. This is super annoying. I don't want to turn off the notifications, I just want the taskbar to auto-hide after a new notification comes. Please help!

I understand your concern about auto-hiding Taskbar on Windows 10.

This issue might have occurred due to Taskbar settings, try the below and check if it helps.

Steps to enable auto-hide Taskbar:

• Right click in the empty space on the Taskbar, click on
  Properties,
• Under Taskbar tab, check mark the Auto-hide the Taskbar option, click on
  Apply and Ok.

IT IS NOT WORKING - the frustrating thing is that this is a known problem and is not being addressed. It may appear to be a small matter but it is not. Wherever the taskbar is situated (top, bottom, either side) it covers part of the screen and is TOTALLY
annoying!!!!!!!

PLEASE FIX IT and help us all.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.
