Windows 10: Windows 10 Taskbar Search Doesn't Work

    Windows 10 Taskbar Search Doesn't Work


    The Taskbar Search window is visible but I can't type anything in it when I click on it. I have looked at other solutions posted here but I can't find Control Panel or Troubleshooter or find anything that works. Please help!

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    Windows 10: how to restore search bar in the taskbar?

    When I right click on Taskbar, there is no "Search" in the list.

    Windows 10 Taskbar Search Doesn't Work

    my taskbar search is working sporadically

    My taskbar search bar is working some of the time. For example, if I type in "TaskMgr", it will list taskmgr, and when I click on it, it opens my Task Manager, as expected.

    But if I type in a file name or an app, like WinMerge, it will list them properly in the Search list, but if I click on them, either nothing happens or it takes me to the root window of File Explorer, instead of to the file or the app.

    Any ideas?
