Windows 10 Taskbar sometimes will stop auto-hiding for seemingly no reason

I've had this happen ever since I got Windows 10. It's really annoying and the only way I can get it to auto-hide again is to go into task manager, and scroll all the way down to Explorer and select it to restart.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? It's not a program because I've tried opening every active program on my taskbar when this happens sometimes but no matter what program it is it will just get stuck and not auto hide.

  3. how to effectively hide or disable the taskbar?

    Hi,

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?

If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

    • Right click on Taskbar.
    • Click on Properties
    • Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
    • Click on OK.

    Hope this information helps.

  4. Windows 10 Taskbar sometimes will stop auto-hiding for seemingly no reason

    Auto hide taskbar not working

    I know how to 'auto-hide'!

IT IS NOT WORKING - the frustrating thing is that this is a known problem and is not being addressed. It may appear to be a small matter but it is not. Wherever the taskbar is situated (top, bottom, either side) it covers part of the screen and is TOTALLY
    annoying!!!!!!!

PLEASE FIX IT and help us all.
