    Windows 10 UAC not showing dialog after change of settings?


    I selected the option in Windows 10 UAC not to dim the screen (3 step down), now when it is expected to launch it doesn't open a modal dialog box. Task Manager reports Consent UI for administrative applications is running, but I can't see it!

    I ran User Account Control Settings and switched back to the 2nd step down, but it's annoying to have the dimming.

    Any way to get this working?

    After upgrading to windows 10 I received this error whenever a UAC was dialog was prompted. I've looked at other posts which told me to run Cmd and run commands to check my hard drive but I have to run it was an admin in order the run those commands which
    launches the UAC Thus i cant Run it as an admin. Turning UAC off as a whole doesn't work either because it it opens another UAC dialog Which Stops me from changing it.

    Any help as appreciated
