  1. Windows 10 UI is BROKEN

This is a problem I've been having with Windows 10 UI for several years now, and it has persisted despite resetting and reinstalling the OS numerous times. It happens randomly and only to every Windows 10 related apps and menus. To sum it up, it acts as if I was holding down the UP key, or scrolling up indefinitely. If I open the Photos app for example, it completely zooms in by itself, and any attempt at zooming out is futile. If I press the Windows key and open up the start menu, I can't click on anything because it keeps selecting up. The error only fixes itself if I restart the computer but it still comes back. It's not my keyboard nor my mouse, because it keeps happing even if I disconnect them.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
