Windows 10: Windows 10 update 0x800f0922 Error

This all started with the KB4517389 update. The update fails with the error code 0x800f0922. It gets to 99 percent on the install and then says it could not complete and undoes the update. To make things worse it keeps trying to install the update. I have done everything I can find online including installing manually, resetting windows update, turning off the firewall, running DISM and SFC, making sure my system partition has 500 MB free and even attempting to reinstall windows. Oddly, on the last one the installer from the media creation is telling me that it can't determine if my system can run windows 10 even though it is running windows 10 when I launch the installer. I am now receiving the 0x800f0922 error for KB4522741 (.NET) and KB4517389. I chatted briefly with support who says a fix is coming for this. Anyone hear if that is true and when? I have suspended all updates for now. Otherwise my system works normally.

Windows refuses to update - Error 0x800f0922


Windows won't update, i ran sfc as an Admin in CMD and no issues.

• Adobe is activated on Edge but still doesn't work, could this be related?

Note that accompanying this is an update for Net framework,The error number is often associated with that.

Are you certain the error number is associated with the KB rather than the Net framework update offered simultaneously?

If you wished to separate the elements offered at this time and try installing them individually, you could use Windows Update Minitool (free) which allows you to select updates individually.
