    Windows 10 update 1803/1809 error 0xc1900101


    Hello,


    im currently running windows 10 version 1709, and trying to update to version 1803 and 1809, but not matter how many times i try, once to update gets to 100%, it says restoring to previous version of windows or something like that, and in the update history it shows error "0xc1900101".


    ive tried lots of the solutions in other forums, ive updated my video card drivers, ive tried creating an IOS file, disconnecting from the internet and updating, using the windows 10 updater tool, but i always get the same issue.


    any help would be appreciated.

    Windows 10 Feature Update version 1809 Error 0xc1900101

    I just tried to install 1809 from 1803 and received the same error 0xC1900101 0x4000D failed on second boot.This is the second time it failed.Maybe delete Software Distribution and try again or it could be a driver issue.On a Toshiba Satellite i5 8GB RAM.Google
    is all over the map with suggestions on how to fix it.

    I have a black screen during update from 1803 to 1809 (Error code: 0xC1900101 - 0x40017)

    Hi!

    I used Windows Update Assistant to install 1809. After downloading, processing and rebooting I got a black screen. I had to turn my PC off twice. After that system recovered to 1803. The same happened twice when I tried to install two different preview builds
    earlier. Then I left Insider program.

    My question: how to solve this problem and install 1809 WITHOUT total clean & install from scratch?

    My configuration: Gigabyte Aero 15 i7-7700HQ, Windows 10 Pro 1803 x64.

    Error message: The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operation.

    Error code: 0xC1900101 - 0x40017
