Windows 10: Windows 10 update 1909 failed

Discus and support Windows 10 update 1909 failed in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Well I have tried to update to Windows 1909 many times now with the same results.     Windows 10 update 1909 failed


    Well I have tried to update to Windows 1909 many times now with the same results. I get to 60% install and it stops telling me Failed first boot phase-error during Sysprep-specialized operation 0x1900101-ox30018. I have removed all devices from the computer and aftermarket anti virus programs.

    Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

    Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary device not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

    Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Windows 10 update 1909 failed

    Windows Updates failed to instal

    I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
