Windows 10: WINDOWS 10 UPDATE 20H2 WILL NOT LOAD

Tried:


1/ Windows 10 update ---stalls at 61%

2/ Tried windows installer from MS web site - ==stalls at 99%

3/ Tried DISM.exe ---three times ----all ok

4/ Tried sfc/scannow.---three times-----all ok

5/ Downloaded media creation tool on another computer and created windows.iso onto USB. Then out the USB onto my PC and ran install.. .....stuck at 31% YET - same windows.iso file installed no problems onto my laptop.

6/ Uninstalled Antivirus and retried windows update, windows update installer from the web, DISM/sfc, tried to create windows.iso on the PC and nothing worked. That is why I created the .iso file on my laptop the installed update 20H2 onto my laptop - no problem - then tried installing it onto my desktop and, as mentioned in 5/, it has been stick at 31% install for some hours.


Does anyone have a real idea of what would be happening?

20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

You may uninstall 20H2 using the steps below:

Windows 10 version 20H2

I down loaded windows 10 version 20H2 and now many games I play on FB are VERY slow. The games worked ok on version 2004. Question if I down load version 2004 will it override version 20H2, or do I need to remove version 20H2 prior to downloading version
2004?

Update History is not showing v.20H2

This is normal behavior in Windows 10, typically when you install a Feature Update like 20h2, the update history is wiped, this is to prevent the user from trying to uninstall an update that was prior to the Feature Update, which would de-stabilize Windows
10, the list should start building again, when some updates are applied to version 20h2 . . .
