    I repeated the update process, it checked for availability, didn't really download (going by the time it took the previous time in downloading), and went through install process, but after restart same message appeard that can't install, undoing the changes.


    I then ran Troubleshooter for windows update, it didn't identify the problem, all items were marked "issue not present."


    Please guide what to do?

    1. Why can't you give some human understandable description of error instead of your cryptowords 0x80071ab1 & 0x8024000b?


    2. Why can't you allow copy-pasting text from Update history window?

    New Cumulative Update For Windows 10 1809 KB4490481 Released Today 4/2/19

    I downloaded this update today and don't seam to be having any problems with it. There seams to be quite a few fixes in it also. You might want to check it out if you are running Win 1809.

    Windows Updates failed to instal

    I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
