Windows 10: Windows 10 update breaks graphic tablet drivers.

Hello all,


I have recently reinstalled windows on my computer and updated it to the latest version upon which I downloaded my graphic tablet drivers. After installing them I discovered that they do not work properly. As windows overrides the drivers by "setting up" the tablet after connecting it.

Is there any way I can stop windows from automatically setting up the device upon connecting?


The device in question is:

XP-Pen g640 with the latest Pentablet drivers.

Removing Graphics Tablet Drivers

How do I remove an old graphics tablet driver so that I can install a new tablet of a different brand. When I go to the devices list, the old tablet is listed, and when I click on 'remove device" nothing happens. This is on Windows 10.

To fix the issue regarding with device recognition, we suggest that you try these steps:

Step 1: Uninstall current driver for the Graphic Tablet.

Step 2: Download and install the latest drivers for the Graphic Tablet directly from the manufacturer's website.

Graphics glitching after upgrade to Windows 10 on my tablet pc

I would suggest you to update all Graphics Card Driver. Please go to the device manager and update your Graphics Card.

Follow the steps to update the Display Adapter drivers:

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Display Adapter.
• Right-click on the Graphics card and click on Properties.
• Go to Driver Tab and Click Update.
• Restart the computer and check.

If this doesn't help, then you might have to uninstall and then reinstall Graphics Card driver from the Manufacturer's Website.
