Windows 10: windows 10 update bricked my laptop

so I'm the kinda person who doesn't like that windows 10 is always sneaking around on my metered internet connection downloading updates with my data that costs me money without my consent but today it got worse..


I bought a new dell laptop with high specs, 16 gigs ram 4 gigs vram nvidia graphics the works and late last night my computer shut me out of my work and tried to update, again without concent normally id swear and let it be but this time the update got to 20% froze and black screened and never restarted so I pushed the power button and nothing.. lights up for a second and then goes right back off.. so I call Microsoft and wait 3 hours while they pass me around to a bunch of branches until I get a person who actually knows what there doing. they tell me I have to drive to another state to see one of there branch offices who are then going to charge me to fix my computer. so I offer instead to have them send a tech to me or pay a local tech to do there job for them. then they hang up on me and leave me with a bricked computer that I now have to pay a tech to fix for me.. thanks Microsoft I rate your customer support a -1000 out of 10 I hope this post helps other people who get the same issue I have


may Microsoft pay for there damages to any future computers and this message tell them I am no longer happy with them as a company for cheap service and then not even taking responsibility for there blunder

I know this is going to blow your mind, but I've had bios bricks and I do laptop refurbs for a living. It happens... Particularly when the flash program is windows only and drivers are amuck.
