Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Error: 0x80070422

I cannot update my windows or install apps. I have a computer at home for work and it just says it seems I don't have permissions. Tried to go to the Services and change the properties for Windows Update and it says access denied.


I am using Windows 10 pro

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

Hello! I have followed the steps to resolve the Error, 0x80070422, without any success. Is there something else I can do. I am way behind on updates I believe.
