Windows 10: Windows 10 update freezes at 27% repeatedly--Install error - 0x800705aa

I have repeatedly tried to update Windows 10 as requested. Each time the update would stall at 27%. I have had Microsoft techs attempt to update Windows 10. Apparently, my computer is trying to upload version1903 right now--it has made it to 1% in the last half hour or so.....


I see the following errors:


Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems KB4524244

Install error - 0x800705aa


Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64 KB4486153

Install error - 0x800705aa



I also have a lot of other update errors with the following code:


Error code: 0x80246007


What's going on? Why can't I update Windows 10? I have an ASUS laptop.

I cant use my dual screens which is super annoying but just want it all fixed really

 

Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

 

Update failed error 0x800705aa

I've tried twice to install the latest update to Windows 10 but I've gotten this failure error both times: 0x800705aa

Any help?
