Windows 10: Windows 10 Update is an insult.

Wibdows Update should:


- Ask before downloading, BY DEFAULT

- Ask before installing, BY DEFAULT

- Ask before rebooting, BY DEFAULT

- Informe me of HOW LONG the update is going to take approx.

- Ask me if I want to install the update in multiple shots or just one HUGE shot.


Me computer have been unusable for few hours now and I have serious important files to access to. It is actually costing me time and money right now. Will switch to Apple as soon as I can, tired of this ****, been going on for years. I've tried everything but I'm sick of it, my computer belongs to me and should act as my tool, not microsoft's toy. Stop messing with peoples stuff. Or just be nice about it. Give us some options to work with. I can't believe this is how your customers are treated. Flawed product to such a point... Apple store here I come.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
