Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Issue After Reinstalling Windows Security

I hope this message finds you well.Could you please assist me with an issue I am experiencing on my Windows 10 PC? Last March, I accidentally deleted Windows Security from my system. Although I promptly reinstalled it, I have not been able to receive any Windows updates since then.I have tried the following steps to resolve the issue:Reinstalled Windows Security immediately after the accidental deletion.Ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter, which did not resolve the problem.Verified my internet connection and ensured it is stable.Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

 

[Solved] Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

I noticed quite some time ago that KB3119142 (Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package) kept reinstalling itself for some reason. At least once daily. Sometimes up to several times a day. I just ignored it. It didn't seem to be doing any harm. And I figured they'd eventually fix it. Well...days turned into weeks, weeks into months, with no end to the problem in sight. It dragged on unsolved for at least the last few months. Literally reinstalling itself hundreds of(at least a hundred, felt like more) times in that period of time.

So I finally googled it a couple days ago. And just got around to fixing it today. Which appears to have worked. And it couldn't have been easier to do. I feel so stupid to have let it intimidate me for so long.*Oops!
