Windows 10: Windows 10 update issues.

    Windows 10 update issues.


    I recently got a new desktop and my windows has been updating itself since set up. I'm currently on Windows 10 Build 18362 and have Windows build 1909 waiting in the wings. I put Windows 10 build 1909 on hold because when I installed the update a few days ago, I tried to open 2 programs I use almost daily - SL a game and Blender. The SL viewer started loading then after showing the "loading cache" message disappeared from my screen and refused to open. The other program was Blender. There is a DOS window that opens up before Blender completely loads. After the update, the DOS window showed error messages then closed and Blender did not open.


    I uninstalled and reinstalled both programs but eventually had to do a system restore prior to the windows 10 update to get both programs to work again. Now WIndows wants to update to 1909 and I delayed it for 7 days so I can figure out what to do .


    Questions:

    Is it possible to jump ahead to the latest Windows 10 update without ever installing 1909 or any of the following updates?

    Or should I install the updates in sequential order?


    Any assistance and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
