Windows 10: Windows 10 Update KB3074683 Failing Every Time (Error 0x80070011)

Hey everyone,
I recently went from windows 8.1 to windows 10, before resetting my computer to Windows 10 (build 10240). Everything was working fine and dandy until trying to install update KB3074683. The update downloads and says it installs but the computer needs to be restarted. Everytime I restart the computer, it works on the updates until 17% or 18%, before restarting. I then get "We couldn't complete the update, Undoing Changes".
I have run sfc/ scannow, which fixed some issues the first time through, but has not encountered any problems on the last 3 runs. Windows Update Troubleshooter also isn't finding errors.
After some extensive Googling, it seems that this issue is pretty rare. I have seen people claiming that it only affects users with Nvidia drivers (I have an EVGA GTX 960 video card). Appartently it's an issue with a ProfileImagePath involving "UpdatusUser". I looked in my regedit, and didn't see any "wrong" profiles. I have LocalService, NetworkService, Mike, and one that has a path %systemroot%\system32\config\systemprofile.
When looking in Event Viewer, this is what I see: "Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070011: Security Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3074683)."
I've also tried downloading this update manually and installing it that way.
Has anyone else experienced this?
If nothing else, would mounting the Windows 10 iso and running it enable me to repair this issue, while keeping all my files and settings?

2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892) Error 0x80070011

Built this PC week after Christmas. Jan 1 this update comes along. Just like every other Windows 10 update, it fails and there is a problem. This time around the block it's "2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892)"
with the error code "0x80070011". It tries to update when restarting or shutting down but it never works and has to undo everything. Message remains in Installed Update History. Tried clean boot. Nothing.

I'm getting the following message:

• Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070011: 2017-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4034658).

 

The below may work but I would download all video drivers from Nvidia.

All Nvidia drivers are up to date. I'm about to try a system restore, any suggestions on freeware in place of the TechUtilities program you suggested? I've been using CCleaner which fixed some issues, but the update still doesn't work.

 

Looking deeper into Event Viewer, the update was installing to the wrong drive. Fixing this solved my problem. Thank you!

How did you do that? Pelase help *Tongue I'v got the same problema and can't seem to solve it.I'v seen in multiple fóruns to deactivate drivers, anti-virus etc.. and I did it all with no sucess.

To launch event viewer, just search it from the start menu. Once in there, you should see some errors relating to the update that point you in the right direction. If your error is the same as mine, I'd recommend either:

1) Go into control panel and ensuring your updates are installing to the same drive that your OS is on.
OR
2) Downloading the update directly, therefore ensuring it's on your OS drive.
