Windows 10: Windows 10 Update keeps failing - 0x8007001F - 0x20006

I was having the same issue. I spent countless hours trying every BS remedy posted on MS's answer site. I used the latest Windows build. When asked what do you want to keep, I chose just my files, not apps. It finally installed after one year. I now have Windows 10. Not a 100% solution but it got me upgraded.

Could you please confirm what version of windows you are using. The Windows update log says 1607 and then one with 1803.

Windows Key + R, type winver, enter

Do you have a iso for your current version? (1609, 1703, 1709)

It maybe necessary to run sfc /scannow three times to repair errors.

I assume the Features they are mentioning are

Click Start > type Control Panel, enter, Programs, Under the Heading Programs and Features....

yes I'm trying to update to 1803 and thanks for your reply.

I have already tried installing from iso, from my own ssd and from an usb key.

Both ended with the error Windows 10 Update keeps failing - "0x8007001F - 0x20006"

I'll give a try uninstalling Kaspersky.
