Windows 10 update loaded my Windows password

Ever since I updated my Windows 10 OS in the middle of summer 2018 I have had problems that were annoying but manageable. Things including hardware that stopped working and my computer shutting down and restarting after going to blue screen. Very annoying and a little scary too but all these bugs became routine and almost expected to happen from time to time after having happened repeatedly a few times before. The latest problem caused by what I'm assuming is also the same Windows 10 update is not so manageable... It's no longer recognizes my Windows 10 logon password. I have not forgotten it because I have it written down and write it down every time I change it since Windows 10 seems to want you to change your password every four to six weeks.the good news is that all my important files and data are on my backup drive so it will be a simple thing for me to simply scrap my Windows 10 PC and take the advice of so many people around me who have been telling me for years that I should really scrap my PC and Microsoft Windows for a Mac computer.

I have been a faithful PC and Microsoft Windows user for about 25 years now and I've for the most part then fine was the experience that's Windows has been giving me over the years. But this latest turn of events is the last straw for me and I am definitely going to be going to Mac within the next few days

By the way, I've been reading up on this issue pretty much over the last few days and it would seem that I am not the only Windows user that has had this experience. And your forums are completely and totally useless when it comes to trying and resolve the solution because they all involves the user going into the administrator account and making password changes there that's hot. Which obviously you cannot do because you can't log into windows in the first place.

So farewell windows in PC I wish I could say that parting is such sweet sorrows but it most certainly is not.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

    • Launch the Store from your Start menu.
    • Click the user icon next to the search box.
    • Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
    • Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
    • When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”
