Windows 10 update removes all printer's drivers

    Hello

I have a problem with one of my computers, it serves as a printer hub in my workshop.

I have 8 different printers each for different materials connected via USB to that PC.

The PC itself is a bit old, but new enough to support windows 10 and good enough to serve the purpose it has.

The printers themselves are older and many no longer recieve driver updates, however they aren't office printers, but rather a special industrial printers for printing on different materials, from paper to vynil to textile to banners, etc.

The problem started about ten months ago, when original windows 10 version installed on computer expired, ever since windows update forces me to install a new version, going so far as to install it automatically, which than result that all my printers get removed from printer list, and their drivers disappear too.

When I try to reinstall the drivers I get an error saying "Arguments are invalid", when I try to manually add the printer, and is not found, I go to manuall printer not detected? link - this is in add new printer wizard on controll panel, than I get an error saying something about my printer router not started, and I need to restart my PC or something - of course that didn't help.

I tried running the troubleshooter, it says that no phisical printer is installed - of course they are all gone.

I was after more searching left with an option to restore windows to previous version which fix the problem, but now my windows update again wants to install a new version back, and it will do that automatically outside active ours, only to be restored manuallly next day becouse I can't work with my printers., it becomes annoying to do this every day.

please tell me how to stop auto updates to new versions, or at least fix the problem, and continue working on new version, but if that for some reason isn't possible, I would like to stop updates completelly - yes I am aware that updates keep my PC safe, but I can maintain PC safety since the PC is connected to network only to recieve print files from another PC on the same network, and is not used to download anything from internet, plus I have malwarebytes premium installed there.

    :)
