Windows 10: Windows 10 update version 1909

The last time I attempted to install this update I had to send my laptop to service for the SSD to be replaced. According to the repair feedback the 1909 update trashed the SSD. I have a Samsung notebook9pro. Now I am attempting to install 1909 again because I got this message "You’re currently running a version of Windows that’s nearing the end of service. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 to get the latest features and security improvements" and it is taking over 15 minutes and still only at 94%. What gives with the 1909 update? And, I understand there is a version 2004 waiting to be installed. Assuming the 1909 installs should I even try the 2004?

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

Dear all,

constantly getting the message that the update to Windows 10, Version 1909 fails. Detailed message:

• Funktionsupdate für Windows 10, Version 1909
• Fehler bei der Installation am ‎11.‎04.‎2020 – 0x8007001f

I couldn't find a solution in the community, yet. Thus I'm asking for support.
