Windows 10: Windows 10 update wont install

This has been an ongoing issue for a hot minute and ive been trying to fix it. The issue being that inside of settings itself it will download the update but when going to do the install while restarting it will only load to 7-30% then restart, undo changes, and put me back at home screen where i have to redownload the update.


So far I've tried to

-Restart then do update

-free up drive space

-I've ran windows troubleshooters

-I've tried to do manual download

-I have looked up a few different methods online which I couldn't get to work either


My OS build is 19041.610 and I'm on a laptop. Version 2004. Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0


The update I'm trying to download is "Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2" I guess. It keeps doing an error code of 0x80070003.


This is the only update i have had issues downloading so far.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

 

New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
