Windows 10: windows 10 update

my linx tablet said it needed to update & asked for 10GB of external memory which I provided via USB. It downloaded the update which look about 3 hours & is now installing update. However after 12 hours it is still on 0% installed what do I do? How long is "a while"?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
