Windows 10: Windows 10 updates and Cannon Printer -not able to install

I am trying to install my Cannon Pixma MG3500 printer and have Windows 10 and it won't let me install it. Previously I had issues with Windows 10 updates and had to reset my computer back to the original factory install so I has to reinstall my other software and programs. Any ideas? I also have a new wireless router I set.

Cannon printer

My Cannon printer will not let the paper go through. Any suggestions?? Help The motor is fine and printer is in working order except this sudden problem.

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

Select your cannon printer.

Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control, hit Enter

Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your cannon Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for cannon Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Proceed to reinstall the driver.

 

i900D cannon printer driver update

Cannon site says they have no updates for the cannon i900D printer that would go with Windows 10. Anyone have any suggestions?

The problem I am having is my printer has decided not to work anymore. The first thing it came up with was a message about the printer head was not the proper head for the printer. It has never been changed!!?? So I took it out and cleaned it. ( it was kind
of grimy, with some excessive ink close to the contacts). Now it acts like it wants to print, but will not. Just starts a print job, just to never finish it.
