Windows 10: Windows 10 updates not appearing in 'view update history' window.

I recently received updates KB4598481 and KB4598242 while using my Surface Pro. I usually like to see if new updates have many issues before installing them but by the time I noticed the updates they were half installed.

Wanting to see if I actually wanted them installed, I paused the updates using the 'Pause updates for 7 days' feature. After some hesitation it paused them and I was able to shut down and boot my Surface/ look into the updates to see what was what.

It wasn't untill I restarted my laptop that it showed the 'Installing Updates' notification, which was unexpected considering I paused any updates. Upon checking in the update history, these two updates do not appear. However if I click on 'uninstall updates' on the same screen it shows that the previously mentioned updates are installed and able to be uninstalled.

Currently I'm not experiencing any technical issues whatsoever as a result of this, performance or stability wise. Everything is running same as it had prior to the update.

I'm wondering if the updates only partially installed somehow and if this could cause instability to my system or if they installed without issue with the exception of not appearing in the view update history window.

TL;DR: Paused updates, seems like they still installed even though they aren't visible in the update history.

Any feedback on this situation is greatly appreciated, I'm just trying to make sure my system won't run into any issues down the road.

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Windows 10 View Update History

There is no "View your update history" option in the Advanced option Window. Things have apparently changed since you posted this. Have another suggestion?
