    Windows 10 Updates Strategy

Hello, I am fairly new to Windows 10 and its update nuances. I was unwillingly drug away from Win7 when support was dropped and am having to completely change my update strategy. I recently upgraded my Win10 Home to Win10 Pro to gain more control over forced updates. I have version 1909 and deferred the Features Update for 200 days. I also deferred the Cumulative update by 30 days. After researching reviews on July Cumulative Update I am more comforable in allowing these. So this morning I set the Cumulative Update to “0” days, but I do not know if I also need to click on the “Resume Updates” to allow the Cumulative Updates to download and install. I DO NOT want the Features Update 2004 to install. So my question is: If I click on the “Resume Updates” button, but leave the Features Update deferred 200 days, will the Features Update download and install? Thanks

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
