  1. Windows 10 upgrade causing Wifi button to turn on Airplane mode

Ever since we upgraded our laptops to Win10, the button on the laptop that turned wifi on and off, now turns on airplain mode when pressed, which turns off all radio signals (Bluetooth etc). Is there a way to change this back?

Problem didn't exist with Windows 7

    :)

WIFI button turns on airplane mode

I have just installed Windows 10 and the F12 button on my HP laptop which turns the wifi on and off instead turns airplane mode on and off. I can't get the wifi to turn on in the settings menu. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  3. Wifi can't be turned off, unless by airplane mode

my laptop don't have a wifi function button, unfortunately *Sad, only airplane mode function button, which turn on and off the airplane mode

i can turn the wifi off from there, but somehow it really disturbing to open settings and go to the airplane mode only to turn off the wifi, instead of going to the notification bar.

Turn On or Off Airplane Mode in Windows 10

I tried all steps and avenues above to turn Airplane Mode OFF of my Dell PC (equipped with bluetooth/wifi), and Airplane Mode with Windows 10 is always on. Even when I try to click to slide it off, it still slides back to "on". I do not see the Airplane icon however, and also I don't notice any wifi connection issues with my computer as that's how I connect to the internet, so I guess I'll leave well enough alone. Just don't understand why it's always on and wont let me slide it to the off position.
