Windows 10: Windows 10 Upgrade failure because of Cypress TrackPad

When attempting to upgrade to Windows 10, I encounter the following error when trying to uninstall Cypress TrackPad from my Dell XPS laptop: Error 5: Access Denied Cannot uninstall I am not able to move forward with the upgrade.

I"m suppose to do this?

DELL XPS13 Cypress Touchpad issue on Windows 10

Hi everybody,

After Win10 update, when I plug in external USB mouse, Cypress Touchpad on my DELL XPS13 continue to work even if I enable option "Disable Trackpad when USB Mouse is present" on "Dell pointing devices control panel". This was working well on Windows 8.1.

Any suggestion? - I have the latest Cypress driver version, obviously.

No. Because the troubleshooting guide on device manager wont even resolve my solution as it is also a basic and one of the primary steps to do but no avail. Tried installing powerplan7 and trackpad++ suggested by relentless on apple forums but with
no success for me. Until now i can't use windows 10 installed on my macbook pro 15inch late 2008 because of the trackpad/touchpad failure.
