    Windows 10 Upgrade from 1803 to 1809 not updating AD


    Hello,
    Recently I was tasked with updating our computers with Windows 10 1803 and updating them to 1809. I use a PowerShell script so I can always see what still needs updated. I rule out disabled computers and check against the 1803 build of "10.0 (17134)".

    The problem is that even after I've updated some computers to 1809, they aren't showing the correct build number in AD. When I go to the Operating System tab on the computer account in AD and it still shows 17134. However, we recently deployed Comodo and it sees the current build of 17763. It's strange a 3rd party app sees it but MS doesn't.

    Has anyone experience this or happen to know a resolution for this?

    Win 10 1803 to 1809 update

    Good day one and all.

    My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1809 a while back, but my laptop/notebook running Win 10 version 1803 (As of a Check for updates today 15 Nov 2018 6:30 AM) still hasn't updated to 1809.

    I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1809 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

    Updates in general on the laptop are coming through as available, for example, yesterday (14th Nov 2018) the "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1803 for x64 based Systems (KB4467702)" arrived and was installed okay.

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
