Windows 10: Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 fails with 0xc1900101 0x30017 error

I am trying to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on a HP Probook 430 G1. I get the above error even after completing all the microsoft troubleshooting steps such as remove antivirus, run chkdsk/f, unplug all hardware, updating all drivers in both windows and HP support, using clean boot.


Any ideas on the next step?

I've pasted the results of all three drives into the same text file. Drives F,E & C(OS) in that order.

I guess I'm ready with the backups too. I have a backup from a week or so back and that should be enough if need be. I've also familiarized myself with the Driver Verifier procedure. So, that will be the next step, right?

edit: I've since made a find. Yesterday, I made the mistake of not searching whole of C: for the drivers. I only looked in the Windows folder. The LUMDriver happens to belong to one of the softwares I've installed: CATIA. Maybe uninstalling it should take care of that, hopefully.
@zbook - would it be OK for me to run the driver verfier now or should I first try uninstalling CATIA?

 

Getting 0Xc1900101 - 0x30017 Error on updating HP Stream 7 to windows 10

HI,

I am getting 0Xc1900101 - 0x30017 error when I am trying to upgrade HP Stream 7 to windows 10. I used the MediaCreationTool to Upgrade to win 10. It downloaded the updates & processed everything.

Then the booting and actual upgrade started. it went for a while and on first restart got hung. I waited to 2 hours and then forcefully shut it down. On restart it tried to re initiate the update but it also failed and then the message came "restoring your
previous version of windows".

Once the restore finished, I got the error message. The error says "the installation failed in the first boot phase with an error during Boot operation".
