Windows 10: Windows 10 upgrade stuck at logo screen

Hi,ran to upgrade issue, so i started form scratch - HP 290 G2 Microtower PC 4HS27EA BIOS: F.44:deleted all partitionsremoved all hardware but the base, keyboard and mousei reinstalled Windows 10 32 bits from original USB 1903i didn't install anything elsewhen I tried to install first to 20H2 via Windows Update, PC stopped at logo screen after the restart keyboard stopped react to Caps LockI was able to push the power button normally. It ran to the same when I turned on again. After the second try, it fell back to 1903 versionany idea how can i find out what causes the problem? Thanks

When I try to install Windows I never get past the Windows logo so I don't get to specify anything.

 

Stuck in Windows 10 Upgrade

My computer seems to be stuck in a Windows 10 failed upgrade loop. I was running fine on a beta version of Windows 10, and then I came downstairs one morning to see it repeatedly booting, attempting to repair, then rebooting. The steps I've taken to diagnose are:

• Attempting to boot off a USB drive (with all drives disabled in BIOS) - this fails at the point of the blue windows screen
  
• Attempting to boot the machine itself and getting into "repair/safe mode" using F7
  
• Looking at the BIOS for obvious failures (e.g. RAM that should be there is missing) - nothing obvious is wrong.
  

I am fairly certain the build version was 9926. For many months, the system would attempt to upgrade, and then say "it failed" for some reason and roll back.

Suggestions for next steps?

The BIOS update suggestion posted above by @Jegler helped me, @guhanath. I was on version 1.10 and updated to 1.90. The steps I took after that were just doing the official Windows 10 upgrade procedure.

Then the Windows 10 installation went without a hitch, and I'm no longer on Windows 7. I'm going to consider this solved, thank you @Jelger for the suggestion to update the BIOS!
